lol
a few misunderstandings though it uses 8cm GameCube Discs which is basicaly mini-dvd but yet different and it holds 1.5GB of data so no need for a big hard drive it has great portabilities games not just for kids Resident Evil Turok Evolution Tony Hawk Pro Skater... Spy Hunter James Bond:Agent Under Fire and many more the graphics is more superior than PS2 but almost tie with XBOX i think if PS2, XBOX, and GameCube all compared, xbox will take the lead my opinions agrees with this review http://www.sonicunited.com/?sonicunited=consolewars my friend has a gamecube and seriously, Resident Evil is creepy on there..!! i dont like games that scares me :P |
one thing you also have to keep in mind is what games will be offered on the system. Tha't gonna still be the x-box downfall. Game cube is trying to get out of the "kids" category with resident evil and some others but it's gonna take a while to get past that. PS2 has over a year head start building an impressive woftware library. That's gonna be hard to "beat"(keeping the context of this thread).

yeah definately in terms of the massive and cheap selection
thats why i dont have a gaming console i have my PC games are free for me heh  |
Game cube does suck though...They have limited themselves way too much with the 1.5GB for data, and it is nothing like a dvd, except that they are both optical discs. The graphics are not much better than PS2, but no where near X-Box. They are alright, I guess, but not too great considering what they could have done with some of todays technologies.

First of all that story is unbelievable. But I can see why a 15 yr old might do that. Would any 15 yr old ask their parents for a vibrator? I don't think many would do that. She probably wanted to experiment and didn't have anything else.
Now to the systems. The PS2 does have a leap with regards to software and developers. But it is a year older than the other two. So Nintendo and Microsoft had time to tweak their systems to be better than the PS2. Nintendo, out of all the years they have made consoles, has never went with the crowd. Do you remember when the N64 came out? It was cartidge based. They should have went to cd but with their "wise minds" did not. Now it is the game cube with 3" discs and no hard drive or DVD playback, unless u shell out $400 to get the Panasonic gamecube from Japan. I just see Nintendo's next system, if there is one, with the componets from today's Xbox and PS2. |
