hey why don't you get new campacitors and solder them in?
|
I buy the 2 year warrnety on all mobo's I buy at fry's electronics! That way I just go in and get a new one if something happens or my full money back I originally paid!

I'm sure certain parts connected to the capicators are heat sensitive. If you can get a alligator clip or something else good at asorbing heat and can trace the circut, and connect it to that circut, then you can solder it back in. It's very difficult to do cause microcircuitry is alot more sensitive to heat then normal circutry.

yeah listen to GR, do a back up now!
dont just think it is fine now, there is a big fat chance that it will go down the river on you again |
MIK3, I think that mobo is out of warranty, so back up your files and get another mobo. If you don't want to solder new capacitors, then just get another mobo. And of course if u need any help with installing the mobo, you have me and VeeEss to help you out.
You might be able to get MSI to give another mobo or have them fix this mobo. |
