eh?
that thing looks like its made to crush my athlon xp die lol a bit scary must be very heavy also i still cant figure out what that 3rd fitting is for?? |
Its lighter than the maximum AMD guidelines, wont crush anything. The three fittings are for water of course, central barb in an inlet, and the two outter ones are outlets.
My review will be posted shortly. |
I wouldn't even let my dog play with that thing, I wouldn't put it on a Pentium 133! It might burn that up.
|
i think ill just spend 750 CAD on a whole set of maze4 cooling with a good aluminum case and a good antec PSU
|
Good choice Evil.
|
ok screw antec PSUs
its just a rebadged channelwell PSU that comes with the x-pider case from turbocase so this is gonna save me like 50 bucks not falling for the hyped up antec... |
I have the X-spider case, but I hate to say that the PSU I got with it burnt out 2 sets of Cathode lights I had in my case...

If anyone in this forum would like to ask questions about our PolarFLO water block, I am available anytime. Gnogtr, do you have any questions about the PolarFLO water block? You seem quite hostile towards it.
Best Regards to all. |
gnogtr was hostile towards the tiny watercooling heatsink fan setup for my first post
ive got a question how do you mount the polarflo waterblock? what mounting hardware comes with it? and i dont understand what the third fitting on the block is for |
Oh... my mistake. To answer your questions:
The PolarFLO Universal Water Block mounts via the 4 mounting holes on the motherboard that comes on both AMD and Intel systems. Right now there is about a 50/50 split on the AMD motherboards that do not come with the mounting holes. This problem will soon be remedied with a clip that will allow mounting to the AMD Socket A directly. The PolarFLO comes with 4 nylon bolts, washers, thumbnuts and 5 hose clamps and a Y-splitter. That is more than enough to get one started. As for the 3 connectors. First let me explain the premise of our water-cooling theory. The center connector is the inlet. The center inlet is responsible for delivering the supply of water directly over the chip. This center inlet is specially designed to bring a high velocity jet of water about .020 over the top of a special geometry machined into the copper base. This now brings us to the reason for 2 outlets. In order to eliminate uneven convection inside the water block it needs to have a relatively symmetric flow. With one connector the flow would be limited to very uneven flow. The addition of a second outlet, we created a more symmetric flow and also made it possible for the flow exiting the inlet nozzle to reach its maximum possible velocity. This is the best performance water block on the market. Wait until you read Jason's Review. |
