Makes no difference.. you might be putting too much or too little of the goop on.. or the v-core might be up

I will pull it off and try it again. Thanks for the help.

The reason I was asking is because the stock cooler should run the 800 fsb at about 33C. I just built a system with it, and the oc to 3.30 only pushed it up to 34C.

yeah, my temps are always between 25 - 40C, and ive got 2 intakes and 2 exhaust + PSU fan. with stock sink and 3000+. id say add more fans, and try dropping your VCore to 1.6.

always remember to use VERY little thermal goop on the cpu.

Dragon 06-17-2004 02:10 PM

thermal goop? that a technical term?

gnogtr 06-17-2004 06:55 PM

Hehe, it is among nerds...It's one of those inet phrases like "n00b" and w00t....

Jason425 06-17-2004 07:53 PM

yea.. substitute goop for paste...

gnogtr 06-17-2004 09:10 PM

Exactly, like box for case or axe for guitar...

Jason425 06-18-2004 12:10 AM

box means whole computer too.. like "linux box"
never heard axe though...
