did you know that pure water is something made synthetically in labs and cost a fortune???

Dragon 05-07-2004 07:10 AM

no i was not aware it was made synthetically, but i had a feeling it was expensive.

as were on the topic, is there a way to remove the electrolytes from it in a home type setting?

gnogtr 05-07-2004 06:05 PM

Yeah, we made some distilled water in Chemesty when I was a Freshman (man that was a long time ago....).

our chem is in junior year .. oh wait (remembers you're in college)

distilled water is what you want but it is still ionized so you would want some sort of anti corrosive aditive added
just a tiny little bit

Yeah, I never got to take it in High School because of a time conflict. I took so bs Physical Science class when I was a sophmore in HS, I got an A without ever cracking a book. I could go up to the teacher during a test and ask if I got the math right and she would show me where I screwed up or even tell me how to work the problem
