Hehe....Yeah, they got rid of PCmark2k2. Anyway, the new Catalyst drivers pumped my 3dmarks up :), but the clock speeds are still being detected wrong....

only benchmarking i've done lately was with pcmark 2k4 to determine if 1:1 @ 3.2 and 3-4-4-8 was better than 5:4 @ 3.4 and 2.5-3-4-5... it wasn't..

dual channel doesnt give as much performance gain in athlon XP system as you would see in a P4 system.

theoretically, yes, dual channel means 128bit as the bits are updated both at the rising edge and falling edge of the clock cycle
but in real life, the delta delays are longer and the CPU just doesnt work that well with it

thats said, dual channel ram isnt that much expensive
so its up to you
but whatever you do if you are overclocking, get low latency ram that can run fast and stable

yea esp with amd.. low latency = god...
