I know that, but the thing is if his Abit has a NB sensor, regular software will likely not check it because very very few mobo's have it.

the touch test is the truest of all.. you can FEEL the accuracy... if it's too hot for you, it's probably too hot for the comp.. although my psu get's burning hot... but that's its problem.. :/

lmao, yeah, just open your case and start touchin stuff! you'll fidure out the problem really fast! i was just about to spray water on mine to make sure its conducting okay!
