when i say bad capacitors, i mean the ones that blow up because of bad formula

fine, lets stick with toms for a sec

yes, Asus has just got a groundbreaking overclocking ability out of their sleeves

but thats only for that board at this moment
perhaps a couple more to come
but im sure others brands will follow suite

without that BRAND NEW feature, DFI is a better overclocking board than Asus

Jason425 11-08-2004 11:23 PM

ok fine whatever.. i'm still not buying a DFI board anytime soon :P

DFI without a doubt has the best MOBO on the market right now.

Gixxer420 11-10-2004 03:51 AM

The OC god you are referring to is name Oscar and he use to work for Abit not Soyo.

eviltechie 11-10-2004 02:09 PM

-- Overclocking champion “Fugger” set a new world record of 6.3 GHz in CPU overclocking –

DFI, maker of the award-winning LANParty and LANPartyUT series of motherboards, today joined the enthusiasts community to congratulate avid DFI user, Fugger, in his recent world record achievement. Using only phase change on an unmodified LANParty 875P-T motherboard, Fugger successfully overclocked his 3.6 GHz Pentium 4 (LGA 775) processor to stunning 6.3 GHz, or about a 75% overclock!

Unlike any in its class, the new LANParty 875P-T motherboard combines the best of both worlds. Designed for the latest Intel LGA 775 socket architecture, it features the mature Intel i875P chipset and includes an unrivaled feature set. The motherboard natively supports low latency DDR400 in dual channel mode and AGP 8x, enabling users to upgrade little at a time while enjoying the performance advantage the i875P chipset offers. Since its debut, avid overclockers around the world have been able to break various world records thanks to its complete overclocking options, forgiving hardware platform, and high quality components used. Last month, Oppainter, world 3DMark champion, marked double world records with the new LANParty 875P-T motherboard in 3DMark03 Hall of Fame (score 18515) and 3DMark05 (score 8382).
