i've got a double fan on it and no problems it seems.. attached is sandra scores.. seems they should be a little higher?

Yes should be much higher, try defragging the system before testing :)

odd, after a fresh defrag, then reboot and shut down everything running I get between a 32-36000 on average.

i defragged, restarted and closed progs.. still just under 30k.. i think its because i'm NTFS.. if not then i'm stumped

NTFS should be fast, I run NTFS format on everything, do you have the bussmaster drivers installed or all the board drivers for the controller..??

oh.. pcpitstop.com says fat32 is alot faster. I probably dont have the newest drivers for the controller
