Then add a parachute. No actually I put the filter in front of my intake fan and cut the noise in half. Nice change.

any idea where i can buy insulation stuff for the inside walls of my case?

i wish they made pc cases like the mac ones that open on the side with the handle; and the mother board comes out on the wall

I'ld check with some of the sound shops for cars. They have sound absorbing material for cars. It would work real well in a case.

home depot has insulatoin for you attic that might work, but frozen cpu has stuff thats actually meant for the computer :rofl:

dynamat is sound deadning insulation they use in cars. you should be able to get it at http://www.jcwhitney.com they have just about everything for cars there (not always the highest quality though).

Sounds like a hoover.
 
My case has 9 fans total, sounds like a hoover vacume cleaner and sucks as much dirt. It's cool, nothing an air compressor cannot fix hehe :)

:nod: Actually they do generate magnetism, it is how the (Crt) monitor works. If there's electrons moving through it, it generates magnetism.

:biggrin: in the case of the CRT, the effects is negligible since distance from any HD you have inside your Case is far enough to have its destructive effects.
