And yet i still stand there in amazement in wondering why the Honda Civic is America's #1 top stolen car in the country????? I just dont get it..the only thing that i can imagine having the cars stolen would have to be....IGNORANCE!!!! Then again...my motto is "Ignorace is the number one seller!"

I know its not common to bring up old threads, but with all this convo...it lead me to another question...which movie did u guys like better, Gone in 60 Seconds or The Fast and the Furious? State why u chose that as well, if u could...

Actually Ilike both of them about the same. From an enthusiast's view, I would have to go with GISS, but they didn't show the cars enough.

While I liked them both a fair amount, I'm going to have to lean towards Fast and the Furious. I'm not entirely sure what about it makes me go for it more than Gone in Sixty Seconds, though.
In GISS it seems like they didn't really focus all that much on the cars, as they did on the people and the task. In FATF they also did more high-speed stuff than GISS. They seemed to have more high-tech gizmos in FATF too, like the onboard car statistics monitors, etc. |
Ah yes...the onboard car statistical laptop reading system (lol, nice name huh?) caught my eye quite well when he pulled that up in his Eclipse. I also liked Vin Diesle's stereo system configuration...omg, that was so beautiful. I would have to say that I can not make up my mind for the best car. There is a tie between Dom's red RX-7, and the orange Supra. I'd have to say that the best race was between the Supra and the black Ferrari 355.

Ah yes. By far, the highlight of that movie was the '67 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500. The other two highlights of that movie had to have been the Ferrari 360 Modena and the Jaguar XJ220....can't you just feel the love?

Ah, but the overall concept of the 2 vehicles is pure shocking. You figure, the 360 Modena would kill that 67' GT500 with easy, and the XJ200 would eat the 360 Modena alive. The XJ200 was one of the most supreme vehicles every created on the street leagal market. Sure that Shelby is a facinatingly sweet piece of eye candy, but is not to be competed against the daddies of the show (XJ220 and 360 Modena)

Oh yeah...sorry bout that, i meant rear power distribution. And yes, that McLaren F1 GT ('97) is a pretty nice car...in 0-60, it is equally matched with the XJ220S TWR ('94)...at 3.3 seconds, however, the Ferrari F60 ('02) does 0-60 in a mear 3.1...nice vehicle, and aproximately the price of a McLaren F1, but out of those 3, i would have to take the TWR mearly because it is nearly half the price of the other 2 competors and is just as fast, mechanically and physically.

Yes, that is true vee_ess, the TWR would kill that McLaren at cornering, and yes, it does have a faster accelleration rate. Which reminds me of yet another excellent traction controlled vehicle, probalby one of the best, the Bugatti EB110 GT. With its AWD, 611 bhp, and only being 44 inches of the ground with rack and pinion steering...you could take alot of cars in cornering with this car...

The Ferrari F60's are already out and on the road buddy, as of this month. And true, the F60 is not the Enzo, the Enzo is simply a fake...off of the F60. Im not sure if Ferrari even plans to come out with the F70, which will be in about 4 years, if they do. Oh, and Evil Techie, ill check up on what TWR stands for...

it really is made for civilians this time and the infra-red camera add on for the roof rack makes it really weird yet futuristic looking saw 2 in the Pacific Light Truck and Auto Show in April and saw a black one on the streets in Seattle when i visited there... friggin rich asses... |
I've seen a few in the prestigous parts of Phoenix...They're the ugliest things I've seen since the last PT Cruiser I've seen. They're performance is supposed to be weak compared to previous generations. I'd dress up an older Hummer instead. They can look pretty mean...

To me those H2's look like something you'd find in a HotWheels set or something...a lil to futuristic and "attraction" to keep that ol solid rugged attitude the old hummers had...id have to go with vee_ess on this one...

Well anytime you increase airflow to an engine it will help your revs and top end but can actually hurt your bottom end if it is natually asperated. If it is a drop in filter then you would be fine and you would probably gain around 5-6hp on that car. Also an 02 sensors is a sensor that is in your exhaust pipe close to the header. It reads the air fuel ratio and sends a signal to your engines computer to up the mixture ot decrease it. Changing out an old o2 sensor can have a great affect on gas milage and power.

Well ET, If your talkin about K&N Air Filters..they'll run ya about $50 or so..and will increase your car's performance ~10%. I'm planin on buy myself one for my accord as well. O2 is NOS, I belive, right AI?

Oh no, O2 is an oxygen sensor, but I do carry various nos kits, but I am not a fan of them, I prefere turbocharging or supercharging, or just a plain built engine. Also K&N filters vary from $25-$100, and I also carry the intakes, FIPK's ect... Basically everything K&N makes.

Eviltechie: What infra red camera add-on? I looked all over the Hummer web site, and found nothing.
I do like the look of H1 better than H2, though. Watch some of the videos for H1...it's crazy stuff. |
