Mystique case

Hey there,...I first got on mom's computer in May, '03,("Future Power" w/ 3 gigs of HD! Win98SE). I upgraded it when I could afford to and did my best to keep it running and tuned up. I inherited my sisters old computer,(An E-machine w/ 20 gigs that sat in her attic for a year. Win ME), about 6 months ago and after removing 263 "spies" with AVG it ran like a top compared to mom's computer. After a week on my own computer mom pretty much took her computer down to 85MB's and it ran about as slow as molasses in winter. So I gave mom my sister's computer and got hers/mine back up to 700MB's and running half-a$$ed for what it is. When I gave her the better computer she said she was planning on buying herself a new one before she retires and was going to get one for me too. Woohoo! She uses Dell's at work and gets a discount through them, so I've been researching. She thinks I'll be happy with an over-the-counter Dell and I'm trying to convince her to let me build my own. Dell's options add up quick and you don't have an option on the motherboard. The Dell would probably be cheaper in the long run but I subscribe to the "ya' get's what'cha pay for" belief. She may or may not go for the build my own deal but a free case would go a long ways toward turning that corner. So,...here's hopin' I don't end up in computer DELL!
