All I'm saying is that if we were running equal chipset, memory, and video, your overclocked 2600 wouldn't come close to my overclocked 2.8. Even the AMD nomenclature supports this. The reason I say this is because you keep stating the 2600 performs just as well as a 3.1 which common sense says otherwise. :P

Yes, I agree, with supported chipsets and memory, the 2600 can perform as well as the 2.8 or maybe even better, but not stock side by side as your posts imply. :biggrin:

You got a Hella system there and it perfoms most excellent. However, I think your comments on it are just a bit misleading because there is no proof to support your claims when compaired to an equally compaired system.

But, if you seriously think your system configured as it is.. overclocked and everything would outperform mine with a 9700 pro, then please send me your 9700 pro so I can run some tests to support your theory. :biggrin:

Just in, finished stability tests :) latest score 17552 at 192fsb. Runs within .5x of my $300 2600+ :) This particular chip will be for sale on ebay soon along with a sister chip to it hehehe. That is only 96mhz off of being my 2600+ and that is a stable overclock of 571mhz :) and a fsb increase of 59x2 mhz woohoo!

AI, if you haven't figured it out yet, let me clue you in. 3dMarks are gained more on memory bandwidth and the video card. Not raw CPU speed.

I stand by my statement that side by side with EQUAL memory and video speed, my Intel will smoke your AMD hands down. :nod:

Choose yor benchmark software, I will use the 2100+ just to prove a point that you cannot "smoke me at all" I am betting I can be pretty close to ya with this $100 chip hehe :) Also this chip is ranked at a " I know you would break 18,000 if you had my 9700 pro in your pc but the difference would not even be over 1000 between the two pc's even with me running this hotrod $100 chip on air :) Also sandra just listed my chip as a 3000+ so your around 270mhz faster right now :) Also wanna compare price vs performance between the two..?? Would be fun to throw that in :)
