It's funny to see you say how it owns with music video's.. but I guess when you have a 4mb card those things are a luxary...
|
So all this arguing for nothing?!? Come on man....Well, at least you got rid of that S3....
|
is 5600 better than a 9500 Pro?
|
just a note.. ive got a vantewc trueblue 480 and unless there is an option to switch the SATA plugs for molexs.. whoever buys a 6800 ultra is gonna have to drop some stuff... im usin 2 for HDs, 2 for opticals, plus lights and fans... i suppose if i werent so picky about hiding cables i could count how many there are.. its either 5 or 6... im pretty sure that the 550s are the same way
using myself as an example - alot of people are gonna for the ATI on this one cuz of the power requirements. speaking of which, how much power do 2 12inch cold cathodes use? cuz unless i turn them on before booting, my computer restarts, and it kind of sucks.. i know its cuz the balast has to charge, cuz if theve been on and i go off then on its fine. |
That's horrible, mine don't do that...When you getting that card? I'd kill myself if I were still using that MX 420...The 9500 Pro is MUCH better than the 5600, I mean, they don't even compare.

yea, that is a big picture
that is a big picture, that is why i like my computer...

hey my speakers!!!!!
very creative idea there! |
bump to the idea of waiting for PCIe. That way you can have gig ethernet not clogging your bus, along with high bandwidth videocards and low latency sound. though with a new mobo, i would also go the 64 bit route, but whatever
|
does having gigabit ethernet built in really clog up your bus?
i thought intel chipsets avoided that? im not sure but i sure would like to see PCI-E mobos go onto shelves sooner since they are basically all ready |
