all good tips. I want to practice on my old P133, but my parents wont let me. I mean, its crap nowadays but when we got it, it was expensive. So if I destroy that thing (which I would most likely do) there goes 2000 dollars. Hmmm, I might make that a linux box. good way to familiarize myself with linux. I'll see if my school or family member is throwing out an old computer that at least boots up. That would be great practice.

The P133 may have cost $2000, but now it is worth parts only.  You couldn't get $100 for it now.  Parts, and practice.

I am a PC Support Technician for Hardware Software and Networking, for a company in WA. USA. Modder by heart  ;D

You know we should all post our jobs, we might be able to find hook-ups for information, maybe even supplies.

Degree in Electromechanical Drafting Design & Computer Sciences.  (Designing Circuit Boards)

Hook-ups , just knowledge Im afraid. :-[
