dunno. I have not figured that out yet. I don't think I ever will figure it out. need this, need that, keep this bill, loose that one. i'm figuring somewhere around 200-300$ US

true but an lcd will not play music in my room... also, I got the hookups for pretty much any HP product... so I see an HP lcd in my pc at the end of the summer ;D

You guys read my mind exactly on this forum, i'd love to have one of those cheap lcd's suspended on an adjustable arm off my main monitor. Prob is, i haven't found much evidence of anyone having actually done this. I found this site [url][/http://www.laptopsagain.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/Toshiba_Screens.html]
which offers toshiba screens, "FL inverters" (whatever those are) and cabling harness. The harness looks promising as it is what (i assume) connects the video card, to the FL inverter, to the lcd screen. It would seem to me that whatever plugs into the video card could probably be modded to fit into a dvi adapter. |

cletus, none of the parts you see on that site are the ones really needed. what's really needed and hard to find is an lcd controller.
