I'm in a school that not only uses Bess, but also some other program (PC-cillin) that disables any actions to any file (excluding opening and closing them, of course) but then that kind of got me thinking. If it allows "gaps" in the "barrier" for those, wouldn't that allow someone some kind of access between the blocks. Unfortunatly all I have to offer is an analogy sense suggestion, (but as Adult Swim says, think of the possibilities!) but I also have more information in mind....

Sit infront of the computer as long as you can, trying possible passwords to get through Bess ;)

Another idea, is how does Bess track a computer, or the network. If it's an individual computer, wouldn't a simple IP change be an option, but further more, a network, either fuck it up, and don't leave you're name anywhere, or best of wishes trying to bypass that (however you think you can O_o)

Its kinda hard when the school comps say you can't download anything unless you put it on a floppy disc :lol:

is there a way to change the proxy settings to get around bess without going to internet options?? its disabled on my computer help!!!!

if you can sign in as administrator, ur all set. My school computers dont have an 'administrator' password set - I can log on as admin and enjoy the freedom of admin. :-D just hope the teachers dont get wind. But on my normal student access I can also go to the blocked pages using a CGI proxy. thanx for this post, its gr8. The Websense was only just added, this monday. And I run on a quota system, certain pages are completely bocked, some are free, and some, like hotmail are on the quota system.

bess has detcted all these sites and has blocked them as a loophole we need a new onei you figure one out send it to QUEBALL116@HOTMAIL.COM
