Treo 600 Unlocking
 

i followed all the instructions to unlock my Treo 600 on Rogers network in Canada. After the doing everything, at first my phone would not connect to the network. Everytime i would try to turn on the wireless mode, my phone would perform a soft reset. I ran the RomUpdater, my phone was able to connect to the network after it gave me the Handspring prompt instaed of the Treo prompt i used to get...but now when i run my camera option, instead of the viewer i get a screen that has a series of vertical bars of two different colors and i cant take pictures. has anyone ever seen anything like this and if so, what should i do to be able to use my camera again???????????

Hi guys, i found a way to fix all problems that might occur once you run this update or unlocking procedure. all you need to do is to go on Palmone.com and run the Treo 600 Updater for your carrier. here is the link to make it easier for all of you. you dont know how hard it was to find this but from what i see, it fixes the problem with the shut down of the wireless mode and the camera problem too. good luck. i dont knwo if it still leaves the phone unlocked but iwould rather have that problem then the rest of what was happening. good luck.

I have bought a tungsten w locked by vodafone.
Any one know a patch for unlock my palm?
I think in the same way with Treo but another firmware.

STRANGE BUT TRUE!

I've been a Treo user since the 270. Recently my T-Mobile Treo 600 developed a problem; the receiver speaker quit working. My wife works for a Cingular rep, and she was able to get me a couple of 650's that had been returned. Both of those units had problems, so they came up with a new Treo 600. Unfortunately, when I slipped my T-Mobile SIM card in, the phone displayed the typical locked SIM message because it was a Cingular branded phone.

I called T-Mobile and they were very helpful. They emailed the official unlock code to me along with instructions. I began by HotSync'ing the Treo to my PC. The new Treo picked up everything from my old one.

I then put my T-Mobile SIM into the new Treo, and to my amazement, the phone was completely operational. I did not have to enter the unlock code!

I'm hanging on to the code just in case, but everything is working fine without it.

Does somebody know how i can unlock my treo 650?
The instruction works fine with my treo 600, but it also will work with my treo 650?
Have somebody experience with unlocking treo 650?

After working as following the instructions, my treo 600 returns to firmware 02.09 so it's camera does not work !!!! Please help me !!!!

I have unlocked my treo 600 and 650 with them. :wavey:

I have followed all of the unlock instructions, but now when I try to connect to wireless mode my phone shuts down. Can any one help me out with this prob? It is also saying my phone is still locked when I put in the code

i was able to unlock treo 600, however the camera does not work now. Can anyone help me get the camera to work again?
