My new paint job (big pics)

Jason425 09-14-2004 02:38 PM

well done! the parts in your comp are fugly, which takes away a little from the overall look. Well done with the psu cables, but like you said, the ide cables could be a bit tidier and still have the nice uv look.. I also don't care much for that shade of blue, but it makes it unique. nice light switches!~

StinkyMojo 09-14-2004 03:12 PM

jojasary, tell me this: did you get that power supply of yours at Fry's? My firend has the exact one and that is where he got his from.. Fry's had like a million of them displayed almong with those dumb aero 7 hsf's.

jojasary 09-14-2004 03:50 PM

nope, not at frys, at a comp place called microcenter.... Its an aspire 500w switching psu, came with its own sleeved wires

StinkyMojo 09-14-2004 04:01 PM

yep.. nice paint job.. my trupower 430 ist really a nice looking psu, i'll get the true blue 480watt some day ;)

Jason425 09-14-2004 05:09 PM

so you german now stinky? 'ist' ;)

Napster 09-14-2004 10:09 PM

Nice paint... Now all you need is the 3.0ghz,X800,1GB RAM, to go with it 8)

jojasary 09-15-2004 03:10 PM

sounds good but id have to make that an amd64 based system with a 6800GT, ill keep the gig of ram though

Jason425 09-15-2004 03:28 PM

in that case you had better get some 900 watt neopower for like $200 8)

Great paint job, looks good. It glows and makes it look hot. :angryfire:

Jason425 09-15-2004 06:20 PM

kinda like this.. :firedevil:

jojasary 09-16-2004 08:26 PM

i dont think its too hot, motherboard monitor says i 33 degrees CPU and 44 degrees case. THose are celcius, i dunno if thats bad but I think its good seing how i have a stock heatsink and cheap 1 dollar uv reactive blue fans

eviltechie 09-23-2004 08:20 PM

yeah the words of asrock turns my stomach :P

good work

however i like green better than blue in computers

i have epox mobo, green too
so im thinking of painting my case interior green
outside is silver

what kind of paint did you use?
ive gotta make more uses out of my airbrush kit... its been sitting in the dust for a long time!

Jason425 09-23-2004 09:09 PM

yea.. green's my fav color, but there is more red than green in my comp.. the only things that are green are the normal lights that are always green, my video card (but you can't see it under the zalman) and one light on a fan

Dragon 09-30-2004 11:22 AM

yeah, but what paint did you use? id like to do that..... black inside tho....

do they make external case paint?

eviltechie 10-07-2004 01:58 AM

Hey.. I use stock and am damn proud of the results ;)

cept just recently Doom 3 is the only game that has been causing heat trouble.. only in multiplayer though. Before that my max load never went above 56c (not TOO bad for Bartons)

Jason425 10-07-2004 08:53 AM

 @ random crashes at the last lan...
but I was having problems too.. that house couldn't handle the power draw.. aka unreliable power source... aka my power hungry overclocked beast didn't have enough.. so that might be what happened to him.. but who knows..

StinkyMojo 10-07-2004 10:46 AM

maybe.. cause it never happened in our homes :/

Jason425 10-07-2004 02:01 PM

didn't say it was our home.. it was that pos mobile..

StinkyMojo 10-07-2004 06:04 PM

what are you talking about.. unless you are talking about the last lan, i dont know wtf you are talking about.
