also you can use a proxy on seti to get there.

No just on my personal comp.. but it was like 250 units.. I dunno.. and i'll try the proxy thing

I joined. I have been a member for a while and this is my first group that I joined. Havent did a unit since July because I am in the military and moved around and was unable to redownload seti on my new computer until now because for some reason it wouldnt allow me.

mad props to stinky for his 1 unit that took him 19 hours! 8)

cause i kept it minimized the whole time.. which doesnt go as fast.

no.. whether it's minimized or not it still uses 100% of availible CPU... if you have it set to not run when it's minimized, it doesn't count CPU time...

well I kept it at default, which was if you have it set to not run when it's minimized, it doesn't count CPU time...

it counts CPU time whenever it's running (processing data).. it must have been on the celly...

it was on the celly, but its faster when u have it minimized on the default settings. It would have been shorter if i hade it maximized the whole time..

no. when you have it maximized it's slower because it has to process the pictures that SETI shows.
You probably were doing CPU intensive things during a lot of that time.

damn pro, how many machines you running? I only have one. If my memory is correct you barely had 500 when I first joined the team.

hey pro what did you do quit on us? Or are you using jason's account to give him some more units? It sucks ass that every one of my work units are 21+ hours. It won't matter since it seems they are about to shut classic down. I hate the other program. I tried it for a month.

im on holiday ill be gone for another 3 weeks my desktop computer that runs seti is off.....

I think there is a softball tournament that i'm playing in (yes softball) then, but we'll see what happens... maybe there will be a tsunami and i'll see you riding the wave
