best new buy
So tell me, what's the best or most enjoyable new electronic toy that you bought rfecently? It can be anything, but nonsensical stuff like an electronic dog has my preference :)
It's been a while since I've actually bought an electronic "toy"...although this Christmas we did buy a USB Wheel for my dad to use in racing games, he was really happy about that one. ;)
I just love gimmicky stuff, like those games that were all the rage around Xmas time, those that can guess what your ethinking of depending on your answers to questions. never bought one though
I just got a new router and dsl modem in one... But that is not very much pizazz.. I liked getting it set up though.
As for last gadget, I would say my slingbox. |
Contemplating getting a PSP but I don't know how much I'll use it...still, it looks pretty cool.
well I got a DS Lite yesterday...I didn't have any DS so I wasn't buying the same console twice, I don't regret it.
The most advanced thing that I bought myself some time ago is a PS? :) not THAT advanced huh?
An electric motorcycle, and a storm-Launcher ATV RC vehicle.
I did buy a couple of electric dogs, but I'm selling them without opening the boxes. Oh, I got a Velocity All Region Divx-Compatible DVD Player w/ USB & MMC/SD Card Slots (for using a external hard drive), and a Lite-On LVW-5115GHC+ Dual Format DivX Certified DVD Recorder W/TV Tuner from www.thetechgeek.com . |
As for me I haven't got anything recently. You might say I'm out of money at the moment, but once that stops being the case I intend to buy an interesting new portable audio player from Meizu, though by then I may have changed my mind. It is high time I get something to that effect isn't it. How long have MP3 players been around after all.
I guess it would be the xbox 360 I won, and received just before Christmas. Thank You Pepsi/Doritos Canada.
It was two gadgets:
Projector JVC DLA-HD1 (awesome devise) and mp3-player iRiver E100 - it rocks as well, hehe :) I can also notice PlayStation 3 game console, but I can't say that it's gadget. It's classic! |
My new PC, probably. :)
Also, Rockband. |
I guess the last thing I bought for my PC was a Galaxy 8800GT.
Some HDMI cables for a sweet 60 HDTV
Two gigs of DDR2 800Mhz (2x 1gb ) Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX spreaders $20 NEW:clap:

I am still learning all the stuff you can with it. I bought it using games I have recieved for reviwing on other systems. |
Just hooked up a continuous flow ink system to my Epson R300 printer. I should 't need ink for a while :)

I got myself a Logitech Z-5500 Digital speaker system.Best thing my money could buy. :)
I recently bought a Canon SD750. Really nice camera for the price!
got a 8gb ipod nano! I can't believe just how small this thing is!
I picked up a brand new pny 8400 gs video card for my htpc build...
26 bucks - the guy bought it, cooked his mobo when he took his computer apart to upgrade it and then sold all of his stuff dirt cheap. It was a great buy and well within my budget (which is not that big!). |
Ummm... a set of 5 pioneer speakers, yamaha receiver, polk audio sub I would say. Most fun I have had in a long time.
i love my new lenovo x61s laptop, so small.
other than that i went watercooling recently and i love the silence |
Last gadget I bought was new laptop Dell Inspiron 1525.
I like it so far. Very nice and stylish. Main specs: 15.4"/DC 1.7/2G/160g/DVD/WF/BT/HDMI/WC/Dos/Black |
I bought an RC heli. I've had the cheap $20 ones and decided to get a nice $200 range one to learn how to fly. I went with a dual prop model to train off of before I went to a full 3D flight model. So far I've only crashed once and it was a wind issue. It gets about 45 minutes of flight per charge which is a blast.
