|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.

Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
I got a lil input, I noticed that the Heatsink was labeled as
"Heat Sink Material Aluminum 6063" Would'nt you think if you do have to make the sacrifice of size that you would atleast use copper as the Heat Sink!? Also I dont think "bigger is better", in the least. I went overkill with the Dragon Orb 3, on a XP 1700+, L8er I built a xp 1800+, and only through a TT Volcano on it. The 1700 is running at the same temp as my 1700+, and the 1700+ has got 2 more 80mm fans then the 1800+. Oh and you can hear my PC from the neighbors. |
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
I have about 9n fans on my computer not including the HSF and Active memry cooler. HMM. Now that you mention it I would have liked to see that HSF in copper. I would also like to see some copper video cooling.

Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
that would look REAL GOOD in my mp3 box...
|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
Do you have any pictures of what it looks like so far?
|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
it would also look real good on that eye candy mobo from Soyo. Fit perfectly on that North Bus instead of that ugly Soyo fan. A match made in Heaven.
|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
Yeah that would pretty much kick ass. I am considering buying one of those.

I love that mirror that you have there.
|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
Thanks. I like mirroring the bottom and backs, where it will fit. I use velcro to mount. :)

Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.

Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
Nice website. That is a good review on the reflector tape. It is insulated, so that should deaden sound a bit too.
|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
Sound is a problem but only if you are trying to sleep
|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
I kinda like the white noise of the fans when going to sleep. What I don't like is the fans covering the sound of footsteps, or bad guys speaking while playing Rogue Spear, or Ghost Recon.

Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
Holly shit man. Those are my favotite games. I been playing them sinse day one. We should play!
|
Re: Thermaltake Low Profile Orb review.
They are excellent! 8) I like to snoop around on night missions with a silenced weapon best. Its a bit slower than Counter Strike, but I like both of these better.
