Just one question: I imagine that it would be good for surfing the web, too, so what do you think about that?

sounds really faulty to me if it moves up and down but not sideways ::) have ya looked in? if ya haven't voided the warranty yet i would suggest ya bring it back and get another one.

one thing is for sure..u better get that mouse up and running cuz the stupid laptop ones are a pain in the butt to work with.  I can never have smoth moving of my mouse on the ThinkPad of IBM..but there are alternatives to mouses...

For the price I paid for this thing it would cost more to ship it then to buy a new one. I think I will just light it on fire.

SWEET! I hear the P-4 can be OCed like a Mother
