Dammit newegg!!!!

They screwed up my order!

I ordered one stick of 512MB PC-2700 DDR RAM and those goofballz sent me 3 sticks and only charged me for one.

Instead of 512MB I have 1.5GB or RAM!!!

:P

Uranium-235 08-17-2002 01:38 AM

How much?

What do ya want for a stick and what brand / kind..? I could always use another 512 :D

Uranium-235 08-17-2002 03:12 AM

who's the manufacturer?

08-17-2002 03:29 AM

Duh :P

That was what I was trying to ask *L* who made it :D sorry it is late and I am blonde :)

Jazzman 08-17-2002 03:50 AM

agreed. now is the time to hook up your friends :)

CiKoTiC 08-17-2002 03:55 AM

I placed an order for one stick of Kingston 512MB 2700 DDR. I received Two sticks of OCZ 512MB 2700 DDR and One stick Kingston 512MB 2700 DDR for a total of 1.5GB of 2700 DDR memory.

I was only charged for the one Kingston. :)

My system specs...

Abit KX7-333
AMD Athlon XP 2200+
1.5GB 2700 DDR RAM
MSI G4 TI-4600
6 pack beer

Keefe 08-17-2002 12:27 PM

My friend just ordered one MSI motherboard from Newegg and received two different motherboards and two processors. He was, however, charged for all of it :( Needless to say he still has not received the original motherboard that he ordered.

Return the Kingston, so you get your money back, and then, give me a stick for the idea ;) , and keep one for yourself. Then it cost you nothing for a stick.

Uranium-235 08-17-2002 03:38 PM

I've heard baaaad things about OCZ

CiKoTiC 08-17-2002 03:53 PM

Yea, I've read some pretty bad things about OCZ memory but these seem to be running just fine. /crosses fingers

Smoked1 08-17-2002 08:41 PM

I say keep the RAM and count your blessings. Score one point for the consumer! I have also heard bad things about OCZ. Have you increased your FSB yet. Let us know how it overclocks if you do it.

CiKoTiC 08-17-2002 10:53 PM

'm not going to OC yet. I'm using a super orb for the time being until I get something more robust. When I do, you bet I'm gonna clock this bitch for all it's worth. :P

Smoked1 08-18-2002 03:11 AM

That's what I'm talking about!

MIK3 08-18-2002 10:01 PM

And i feel that your beast is about to release some kick @$$ fury...just dont OC it to the point of no return, thats never good, haha

Hmm whoa, better watch out on your CC statement, if they only charge just SINGLE price/shipping charge then you very LUCKY on 2 xtra items, OR they charged double -or- triple charges, take that 2 items back to the store and refund to your CC back in.
