Heck yeah, soccer is the first (and only real) sport listed. It is the best sport period, and if anyone whats to express their opinion on soccer in a negative way, id be more than willing to correct you by all means necessary :sunglasses:

Sports, we don't need no stinkin' sports. And SS soccer if for poopoo heads. (I don't really hate it but you was just askin' for it in that last post)

K, now you've asked for it...(this is all out of good humor) im guessing that that was "is for poopoo heads" This is not true though, unless you are calling 90% of the world poopoo heads...cuz that is the only sport they really play to tell ya the truth. Baseball, u call that a sport? where's the contact. Football, oooo, watch out u might get hurt, better use pads like there's no tomorrow. Basketball, you use your hands, enough said. Tennis, hell, just have a cup o tea with that Godfree. Hockey is about the only sport realively close to soccer, but yet there are more pads in that game. Women use "pads", and ill let u guys figure out which one's im talkin about...Id have to say a close second is awarded to Rugby, now u need a pair of balls for that game...no pads, just brut force and braun take over...let's see ya guys get into that game
GR: Yes, we definately need sports, that is the only thing that will keep us sane from all the programing difficulties we have in life. Its the only thing that will keep us in shape. Its the only thing that we can let our rage out on and it would be for the better for us. Heck, w/ out sports...we'd all be going crazy...trust me...just look at some of the ppl on this board that doesnt do a single thing, i mean not even walk long periods of time. Yeah, they arent exactly mr. or mrs. sane. |

As for badminton, that is a very fun sport, yet challenging at the same time. I have played it quite a few times in the past...good sport. |

When I was in the Military it seamed everywhere I went outside the US people were kicking soccer ballz.
Soccer is deffinatly the most poplular sport on the planet. Maybe not in the US but on the planet, yes. |
baseball is my favorite. and hockey is a close second.

1.) Showing off "backing up" skills isn't impressive on boards, having the balls to be mature and stop it is, and that is why I am stopping here.

Tennis Not a Sport?
This is my first post, so you might consider me inadequate, but your judgment matters not here.
I don't get offended easily, but you calling my beloved sport of Tennis a non-sport ("Tennis, hell, just have a cup o tea with that Godfree") really, really, offends me. Tennis is as much of a sport as your sport of soccer, which is, IMO, a very lame sport. Soccer_Stud, I think it's time for you to give it up. Oh, and also, if you notice, your soccer only has %7 of the vote, while tennis has %15. Edit: I *edited* this post to display my signature, which really sucks because its only allowed to be 350 char long (Normally its 1500 char) and then I edited it again to post this message. |
Give up? I cannot. Badminton is a bad ass sport, like I have stated above. I have addressed the admins, no need to lock this thread, it is a good one. Tennis is good too, I play it as a leisure sport up in my timeshare. It is a challenging sport, that I agree with. I have been addressed by three members to not reply to this thread, however I will continue posting here. However, a newbie telling me to "give up", I cannot abide to that. I will not engage in starting argument if you guys wont, that is all that I am askin...
