jackass: the movie

I went and saw jackass: the movie last night and I would have to say that it was one of the funniest movies that I have ever seen. Some parts were so funney that I laughed so hard my stomach hurt! Other parts were so gross that even the camera man blew chunks.

Has anyone else seen this movie? What are your comments.

theres a few scenes that really stuck in my mind:

papercut.
electric pads
mom says "fuck"
midnight fireworks, car fireworks, ass fireworks, rollerblade fireworks.

yeh..

oh and the golf carts.

eviltechie 11-04-2002 04:09 PM

what the hell is that movie about???

MIK3 11-04-2002 11:42 PM

LOL evil techie. It is very self explanitory. I cant beleive youve never seen the show on MTV. Very funny show!!

Mac_forever 11-05-2002 12:20 AM

I say it a couple times and still don't like it. It has mostly dumb stuff on the show. So I probably won't go and see the movie.

eviltechie 11-05-2002 02:03 AM

nope aint got MTV and couldnt care less about it

im a Discovery channel kid
been watching it since 8 years old...

TV does teach you stuff, if one use it wisely

xMerCLorDx 11-05-2002 01:21 PM

I don't watch TV, i haven't for 4 years. With exception to the major news events.

9/11 for example, and the start of the sniper shootings :/

I watch a lot of movies however.

If I were to watch TV, i'd go with adless mtv music videos 24/7, discovery channel, TLC, simpsons, StarTrek:TNG reruns, and a bunch of movie channels.

I'd be pretty set.

if it's chock full of ads, i don't want that shit :/

Uranium-235 11-05-2002 01:49 PM

I watch the history channel waaaaay too much :)

eviltechie 11-05-2002 06:37 PM

yay!!

TLC, Discovery, TNN with TNG Marathons are my favourites at the moment

Frasier is my favourite show also

MIK3 11-05-2002 08:31 PM

Well i was leading to starting a new thread of favorite tv shows...but i see that this has practically turned into that. So the fav's for soccer stud would be: SIMPSONS!!!!! and then speedvision, espn, fox sky sports (soccer), animal planet, discovery channel, and some history channel. good stuff.

Mac_forever 11-06-2002 12:03 AM

My Favs are: Friends, Fasier, 24, Enterprise, Who's Line is it Anyway, Monday Night Football, History Channel, Discovery Channel, TLC, USA, TBS, WGN, Cartoon Network with only Warner Bros cartoons (like Bugs), and TechTV.

MIK3 11-06-2002 08:03 PM

Wow! Lol, easy there killer. Nah, im jokin. TV is always good for one. It calms you down, and cheers ya up.

eviltechie 11-07-2002 12:26 AM

sadly...
i dont have TechTV
had it for a month when it was for on cable for preview

now it is on digital cable which i can not afford...

me like The Screen Savers...

MIK3 11-07-2002 07:38 PM

Yeah, I forgot to add that into my list of favs for TV shows. Tech TV is a sweet program! I watch it whenever I can really. eviltechie, digital cable is gettin cheaper and cheaper, I think I pay 21 bucks a month.

eviltechie 11-07-2002 09:35 PM

cheaper and cheaper eh?

does 42 CDN per month sound cheap to you?

Mac_forever 11-07-2002 11:57 PM

For us it is cheaper 42cdn is about $28US.
Soccer_Stud pays more than $21 for digital cable. With Cox it is about $40. The other company that I can get around here is Qwest and they charge around $38 per month. I have the Dish Network and I pay $32 per month for around 130 channels.

On TechTv I like the screen savers, the tech of, extended play, and fresh gear.

Did any one see the special presentation by Mircosoft on techtv last weekend. It was called Microsoft Insider Live.

MIK3 11-08-2002 12:01 AM

Actually Mac_Forever, you are wrong. It is not that expensive, I can reasure you. It is in the vicinity of $21...c'mon u know my dad, lol.

eviltechie 11-08-2002 12:13 AM

still too expensive for me

Mac_forever 11-09-2002 12:28 AM

yeah I do know him, but I think it costs around $38 per month. http://www.qwest.com/vdsl/phoenix/tvPrice.html

I don't think you are missing much. They don't provide much technical detail at all. Also, when they think they have found out some new thing, it is always like 4 or 5 months late. ( I don' have cable either...I had it for a preview also)

eviltechie 11-16-2002 03:19 PM

but i like the screen savers with their high tech jokes

hot and techie chicks on the show too

also i remember when i was watching the preview
they showed this episode of this guy from Xerox
forgot his name
but he is the one who invented mouse

Xerox PARC is now trying to lay out a market for their digital newspaper (reuseable)

Mac_forever 11-17-2002 01:24 AM

Xerox has been thinking of digital ink for some time. I don't think we will see it mass produce for a while.

I think the are informative on all the TechTv shows I watch. They might sometimes make mistakes but they always fix them by the end of the show.
For technology news there isn't too many places to get it on tv or cable/satellilte.
