Mac_forever 01-27-2003 12:32 AM

That is why you don't use Microsoft for your web server.

Jason425 01-27-2003 01:23 AM

Mac_forever 01-28-2003 12:57 AM

Anything other than microsoft is fine with me, Jason425.
Linux, Mac OsX, etc.
I heard that microsoft had fixed that problam, but didn't notify the web admins about the patch.

Jason425 01-28-2003 01:01 AM

on age of mythology ( a microsoft game) even with the right password you couldnt log on.. and new accounts didnt work either.. its better now though

Mac_forever 01-30-2003 01:01 AM

Microsoft is really bad with getting patches out. Now why do you need patches when they take so many years to get the new os out to the public.
They have holes that noone knows about yet and they won't patch it until something happens.
Many programs from Microsoft are buggy.

TheRogue 01-30-2003 12:03 PM

microsoft got hit by the slammer themselves.. and they expect people to patch their own servers? lmao!

Mac_forever 01-31-2003 12:00 AM

ditto.
They can't expect others to patch if Microsoft didn't patch their servers. That is just sad.
