Jason425 01-11-2004 10:07 PM

as far as i'm concerned language = programming

eviltechie 01-11-2004 11:44 PM

but it isnt anything like high level programming...

its the hardware "programming"... to program a CPU and stuff...

what are some mods that you have done?

StinkyMojo 01-13-2004 03:33 PM

A couple kinds,
a couple minor hardware modding- Made my case bright as hell with 2 12" cathode tubes.. drilled a hole in the back of my case for the cathode switch, put an old pIII socketed heatsink on my old geforce256 for fun a couple years back and overclocked it with glee...

software- A friend of mine and I once edited all cs maps from 1.5 and put monsters and items from half-life in it by using hammer, and we tried to make a mod but we couln't skin at the time so we just edited the enemy health, power, and location in single player halflife because we thought it was too easy on its hardest mode........ yep, those were the days :D

Programming - VB.NET (taking advanced class this quarter), Web - ColdFusion, HTML, tiny bit of PHP, tiny bit of ASP.NET (again, this quarter), Hardware - i can tear some crap apart, Mods - have yet to mod anything, but i hope to soon

Aemon_ 01-14-2004 03:34 PM

thanks mojo. yeah, my teacher works for the military, and has been coding since he was 7. he used to program guidence systems for missles.

on his "resume" that tells the class alittle bit about himself, he listed his hobbies as AI and robotics. yeah, hes bad. learning alot. worth the money.
