Web Design Help Wanted
 

The Hardware Pub design was made about a year ago and now it is time for a new look.  I am looking for anyone interested in helping us out a bit.  This will be an entire redesign, logo, front end, back end, graphics, etc.  The skills needed will be php, perl, mySQL, html, graphics, and flash.

You will be compensated with cash, advertising, hardware, and/or any combination of the aforementioned.

Members, please post on any ideas that you have including new features, navigation, graphics, colors, logo, anything.  I want to hear what you have to say since this really is YOUR site.

hey keefe, dont worry bout it this next facelife of harwarepub will kick @$$!  The only thing that i could maybe help you in would be the logo and maybe graphics, depends.  But hey if i come across any web designers, i will be the first to let ya know.  Good luck on everything and ill try and see what i am capable of doin, k.... others, i want oppinions, lol!

html, php and mysql (and mebbe perl if you really need it) reporting for duty sir!

i maybe able to supply you with some flash and gfx ppl ;D

I can prolly help too i'm decently good with Graphix, i can do some basic HTML (and am willing too learn) i'm good with Word (then again who isn't) so if u need help my ICQ # is right over there <-- and u can always get a hold of me on here

yeah but i think keefe also needs some ideas and opinons on the site as well i.e logos, graphics and colors.....im sure htat all of us here have some sort of quaulifications in the web design field!  :)

Dump yabb. Go with a php based board. Burning board from woltlab is free. If you need it, just let me know. I have version 1.1.1 here and can email it to you. Also, the board itself is quite customizable and www.wbbhacks offers plenty of ways to improve the board itself with various hacks and customizations. The board itself is much faster than .cgi.

Just a suggestion though.

Actually, PHPbb is where the boards are going. Good suggestion - they are faster and have potentially more features

yeah keefe the most that i could do is probably work on some graphix and logos on photoshop, is that ok w/u? i might take some screen shots and see what u think

what aleckz did was perl (i think), it does somethin on that string of text to do with g, im not familiar with it so i can't figure out what the message is :(

I am sure none of you guys know me, I have only posted on here a few times but I would like to help.  I know HTML better than english, some basic PHP, pretty good with Graphics, and I have interesting ideas, yeah!

Are you looking to actually make a site.  Or is it just going to be a forum and a forum only still?  I really want to help, so hit me up.

that pic above is pretty cool....i tried doing some of that stuff earlier and its just not possible...can u take like classes and stuff to enhance your skills in that, BTW?
