i need help with my linksys box PLEASE
 
i got a linksys dsl routher and i plug in my surfboard cable in slot number 1 computer number 2 and ps2 in 3. and it wont work i would like to b on the net on the computer and play online in ps2. help pls!!!

The cable modem connects to the router then the cables go out of the router to your devices

im not computer smart all it says on the back is is uplink then hole for a cable then #1-4 then wan. what goes where?

Sounds like you have a linksys switch and not a router. Is there a port by itself away from the others that is labaled WAN or Internet?

was it road runner? they only allow certain IPs to access there server, and im planning on doing this for someone else later today ironically, and it didnt work last time (microsoft router) now im using a linksys, itd be great if you could tell me how you got it workin.
