system keeps rebooting
 

I just made a back up of my system in dos when tried to restart it i get a screen that says did a power failure shut down computer if so start normal or safe mode etc. can't start in save mode or any other when try to start in save mode system reboots to same screen about safe mode
any sugestions welcome

Please use punctuation. It makes it much easier to read. Go to your BIOS and disable all performance features and enable all stability features. You might want to consider just reformatting and reinstalling Windows.

You didn't explain fully what you did. You say you did a backup from DOS. Does this mean you tried cloning the drive and tried to boot from the cloned drive?

Just what did you do when you attempted a backup?
