I love living over seas reduces my chances of being investigated....what with international laws.... ;) ive never seen a warning about copyright matierial on pirated movies...therefore I never knew it was copyright ;)

You don't to be aware of breaking the law to break it. That won't get you off if prosecuted for a crime. People tried doing that in the first RIAA cases.
