Software Pirate Sentenced to 18 months
 

A Maryland man has been sentenced in Northern Virginia to 18 months for distributing pirated software over the Internet, the Justice Department said Friday.

Kishan Singh of Lanham, Md., pleaded guilty to a single count Oct. 14 charging him with infringement of a copyright.
