New Case / Mod Project

Time for a new project!

I'm going to build and slightly mod system from the ground up and document the steps for all to see. This project is not going to be an ALL OUT modification, it's going to be more of an introduction for people that are interested in building a nice looking system but don't want or know how to go all out.

I will be using EXPENSIVE parts but the method is the same for any system. Also, if someone wants to use this guide to build the same kick a$$ system, then this guide will be the roadmap.

So check back often because I estimate this may take about a week to finish.

PARTS LIST
DFI LANPARTY UT NF3 250GB Motherboard
AMD64 3400 CPU
1GB OCZ EL Platinum Rev2 (2x512) Memory
200GB Western Digital SATA Drive (x2)
OCZ PowerStream 520 Power Supply with adjustable rails
BFG 6800GT OC Video Card
NEC DVD-R/CD-RW
Koolance PC3-420BK Water Cooled Case
UV Lights (x2)
UV Fans (x4)
UV PET Sleeving (Red and Yellow)
Chrome PET Sleeving

I think that's everything, if not, I'll update the list.

NOTE TO ADMINS:// I MAY HAVE TO DOUBLE POST BECAUSE OF PICS SO DON'T FREAK OUT.

Get an X-connect 500w its modular, for your popwer supply. And get a dual layer burner. Also the xconnect is extremely clean looking so you dont need cable covers, its already uv ready.

You can see my system with one i have a good uv set up so check out the link in my sig

the neopower is modular too... pcp&c is prob ultimate but so is the $... I doubt it's twice as good as my tru430... but it is twice the cost!
