Nintendo DS Boots Linux
In the future, the proof of a person’s technical skill will be based on their ability to boot linux on random objects. Those who are able to get a bash prompt on a toaster oven will be gods that walk among us, constantly harping on our choice of distribution.

you know what i want to know? whats the point? am i missing somthing? why do people want linux running on the DS, PS2, etc.? i mean, i have a linux server here at my house for my webserver, so i dig linux. but why on DS? just to say its been done, to say how cool it is? or is there actually a point to it?

Aemon, I have many friends that penguin-up their console just for the sole reason that they could.... pretty much bragging rights. Of course its waaaaay more useful and efficient using a desktop, but i dunno, its seems cool installing linux on hardware that wasn't meant for it. =/ |
I don't ever want to reach the nerd status of installing linux PERIOD, let a lone a console...
