Duff digital camera

Last Christmas, my sister bought me a Kodak 'Easyshare' digital camera - supposedly 3.2 megapixels. Okay, it's only a Kodak so I wasn't expecting it to be brilliant but the results are very disappointing. The pictures are always under-exposed - even if I take them in daylight and even if I use the flash. I can tweak the results using the supplied software but by the time I've got the pictures bright enough, they seem to be very fuzzy. For example, any kind of text is unreadable.

I can't decide whether it's just a crap camera or whether there's something wrong with it. Any suggestions?

Does it have optical zoom? Camera's without optical zoom generally don't look very good even know they may be 3-4 megapixels.

Maybe you can post a sample picture for us.

if it's in manual mode that could be the problem... but then again that camera probably doesn't have an auto-mode...

It's either a camera setting or it's just crap.

Try messing with the option or read the guide :)

Try making the image resolution smaller, it'll save memory and improve quality. If that doesnt help, just try doing the basics first, reading the manual, cleaning the lens, etc. Also, look at other reviews for the product on other sites, see if they are having the same problem.

How would reducing the resolution improve the quality???

I was wondering about that...imo it would just turn into a fuzzier image would it not? It will however save memory.

Yeah... lowering resolution doesn't improve quality... that just doesn't make sense.

persnaly I really didnt think that the easy share was a very éasy'camera, I hated it from the moment I got it and couldn't wait to sell it off on ebay. it was a waste of money
