avoiding the fan-change-screw-length-problem
it´s been a little time since i changed the ys-tech fan on my alpha pal6035 to one of those 38mm b@d@ss jetsream babies. that´s how i came to the screw problem: the fan is mounted with 4 screws screwed ;D to the baseplate. the chane from a 60mmx20mm to a 60mmx38mm fan leads you to the result that your original screws are far too short. i dint get any length-fitting screws anywhere, so i had to do anything, and a employee at a local hardware store ( not the computer sort) gave me a helping tipp. he told me to use "i don´t know how they are rally named in english, they are simply a 1 metre long screw without a head) and nuts. simply cut the "i don´t know....." things into needed length. perfect fit, perfectly simple. 8)

Re: avoiding the fan-change-screw-length-problem
What is it, just a length of threaded rod and then you put a nut on one end? Not a bad idea, But I would think you'd be able to find screws, I dunno

Re: avoiding the fan-change-screw-length-problem
hmm the pal6035 is 35 mm high the delta is 38 +1mm for the shim equals 84 mm, i din´t find any m3 screws with that length anywhere, and the screw rods work perfect
