Safe Mode dumps and dies
 

HI, When I start my computer in Safemode, I get a long laundry list of files, the computer will not go into windows or let me type a dos command either. What's up?

Those files are what it's loading. What's the last one you see? (that's your problem)

I did a websearch on the file agpCPQ.sys which is what my system dies on in Safemode. Apparently, this is an issue with Windows XP in Safemode. One person edited her file and changed the sequence in which it is loaded. Anyway, thought this bit might prove helpful.
