i'm hoping someone can help me, i found a -how to- on how to make a "slim" psu what they use was a old psu and a cd-rom case has anyone else come across this link and if they did can u send me the url thanx

Interesting. You know they used to make PSUs that are small. You may be able to find one on EBAY

well i didn't find it......but i made one anyways and it's a good second PSU and at 200watts it'll power my Cold Cathode, fans, and anything else minor i hook into it

I have 2 old PSU's to expirement with. I will try it too. One is from a '91 Packard Bell though, and I'll be surprised if it puts out more than 10 watts. What about doing that with more modern PSU's though?

If I have any success, and VW let's me post it, we can make a how-to right here...
