XP SP1's new looks

The original change to XP's look looks like this:

I thought that looked awesome, but then they made it a little more conservative, in the sense of keeping the XP look already in place, in the more recent beta:

yes i agree..they look the same..but i would still go with the lighter, silver-white option...although im not seeing any real improvemets on the overall site other than the look... :( but who knows what Bill has instore for all the Win users out there...

yup, the ol' fun everyone gets a kick outa, 404 error, yeah the link above gives a good description of it, i myself didnt know what that was till i read that thread, but thank to the term of the day, i am well educated
