RAMDISK -> HOW TO?
 
hey folks.
can anyone out there tell me how to make a "ramdisk". ???
i´ve heard that if you put your current OS in there performance boosts enormous.

1st i´d like to know how to do it
2nd i´d like to know what minimum amout of ram is needed

if you got any further tips or suggestions, i´m interested in everything related to this

I'm not sure. I just looked up ramdisk on yahoo and got nothing with windows. So I looked up ramdisk + windows and got nothing worth nothing

Do you mean a RAM drive?  It is not hard and if you have enough RAM it can speed up things when you're using the internet if you put your internet temp files on it.  Just remember that it is static so it will dump all info when you shut down.  Check this link Speedcorp Ramdrive
