I found a Quicknote Notebook at Fry's Electronics for $799. It is on sale at that price till tom. You get Athlon XP 1500+ processor w/ 128mb of DDR PC2100, a 10gb HD(kinda small) , 8x DVD, modem, ethernet, 4 USB 2.0 and 1 Firewire(IEEE 1394) port, XP Home, and a 14.1" screen.
It also says that the external battery is sold seperately.
that battery could cost u a bit of money though.

Frys are bastards man, you ever have any prollems they treat you like crap. Ive bought things there and brought them home didnt work out of the box and tried to take it back ..... No dice. They told me to call the manufacture. Ya i know that an ok for some but still thats kinda BS. Dont shop at frys unless its a hella deal because you will have to deal with a lot of crap.

Thats why if i want somthing from frys i just shop at outpost.com(frys online store) those guys are cool. I guess its just the store closest to me where they are asses

Agreed. Not to mention that if someone who knew what they were going aplied for a job they probably would not get it.

Yeah, same here. The Fry's by me has good customer service, but the people there end up asking me questions, and mine are not answered. There was one guy that knew a good amount, but despite his excellent service also, he was fired. Fired. Yet there are a few others that know nothing and have poor customer service.

Fry's is to GAY as Ultra160 is to SCSI :wavey:
