How did everyone find out about netsmog?
 

I saw a post about it on the aus.computers NG which I lurk on......(come to think of it I dont think Ive once posted anything there).
Even though netsmog is still young and small I see that there are alot of intelligent people here who are willing to answer questions and who dont bite your head off I you ask a stupid question.
Its easally my fav place on the net to post about my computer woes, and hopefully somewhere along the line I can help afew people out with there problems too ;D

I found out about it because one of my friends is the Admin, and he made me come here.  After i came a few times it got interesting and now i enjoy it more and more.

I regularly visit Microsoft Communities - "Free Computer Help",
and someone left the address to this site. This is the first time I 've been here, but so far; it looks like a site that I'll want to come back to and spend more time. Although the Free Computer Help site I mentioned earlier is better formatted to provide computer help.

I was browsing the YaBB Showcase and happened upon Netsmog

There were some questions I could answer and have just kinda hung around since then.

I provide a forum for my current clientelle locally but I do enjoy helping anyone and everyone as I can.

This is a great forum for all! Looking forward to hangin around a long time to come.

Started coming here when the user numbers was still in double digits (they aren't anymore are they?)  Found a post on geek.com and ended up here and have stuck around for a while.  Nice people and laid back style

I also saw a post on one of the MSN comp help pages, hardware junkies I believe.
