question about arctic silver
 

my new system will be here in a few day; i want to make sure the processor and everything works before i put arctic silver on the chip; now the question: will running my xp 1800+ with only the heatsink mess it up?

as long as the fan is on. it might run a little hot, but yeah

I think he means no it won't mess it up, but yes it will run fine ;)

i figured as much but you can never be too sure :)
