does anyone know why my dremel does a hisssing noise when i set the speed to zero after turning it on...

i'm guessing it needs to be lubed... whts ur guess?

eviltechie 09-01-2002 03:48 AM

it definately needs to be lubed

check for dusts or particles that might get into it...

or another defect might be that one of the gears are slightly stripped...you might wanna take it apart and examine the inside

There should be a warranty on iy unless you VOIDED it.

How to mod your mod tools. Sounds like a nice new section whatta ya think Smoked? Pop out that puny motor in the dremel squeeze a RC car motor in there that tops out about 30,000 rpm and add one helluva battery back. And a window, don't forget the window.

Not to mention paint

So what are you thinking of, flame job or a motto? "Death to all warranties, expressed or implied"
