Fixing a busted ps2 port...
 
How should I go about fixing this mouse/keyboard port problem???  I would like to get some advice from someone who has done it before i go in there and rip em out and solder new ones in!

Well, what exactly is(are) your problem(s)?  Describe the problem, your hardware (that's relavant), OS (and any other mouse/keyboard software), and what you've tried so far.

If you mean the ps2 port is actually broken off the mmotherboard, I fixed that once my pulling the ps2 of an old mobo and soldering it onto the new one.
Might not  work on some mobos though cuz of the way that ports are attached.

you could always go about using PS2 -> serial adapters

and if you need the serial ports free you could always get an expansion card with dual serial ports
