New Beta Detonator Drivers
 

NVIDIA has released new Version: 40.71 Beta Detonator reference drivers (WHQL Certification Pending) for their entire line of GPUs running under WinXP/2k and Win9x/Me. The new drivers offer several new features, and promise "Up to a 25% increase in performance."

man everytime they say up to a 25% inscrease, if they were 50% accurate then my card would have been improved 50% in the last 6 months *L*

sometimes new detonator drivers crashes my win2k when i play battlefield

im using the old 29. something version now
it works fine...
newer ones dont

I'm using 30.82
works just fine for me

evil, when you load new det drivers. First ALWAYS load the default VGA drivers manually..

Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Adapter -> change -> Display List -> Show all -> (standard display types) -> Standard Display adapter

after that is loaded and you've restarted. then using the same window, load the new det drivers.

well what i did was first i got my system formated

so it was nice a fresh

then i canceled the win2k prompt on getting a driver
then i went to dl 30.82
all works fine
except when joining a server on battlefield, nv_disp.dll crashes
and BSOD comes with the error of that dll

cant remember the whole thing...

I prefere the 40 series drivers menues ect.... I am very happy with the .71'S :)

40 is not officialy released yet

still in beta
means not good for everyone

well both versions of the 40 have worked perfect for me :)

but may not be 100% compatible with old cards such as Geforce 2 MX200
(my card at the moment)...

the 40.41's worke great on my GF2TI and also are working great on an old 32mb cheapy nvidia card I have on my girls pc.
