I've been debating with myself whether or not to download it. I guess it is just my way of putting it off til I forget it.

ok
ill be the goat

dling the patch now

ill update you guys on how it goes...

vee_ess 10-12-2002 07:34 PM

If it goes bad, then i won't download it. If it goes well, I'll continue debating. Truly, I don't want to install it. Once I install any security patch, then I feel I should install them all otherwise the previous ones would be in vain. So I will continue debating in the circumstances in which I am most likely to download it.

weird thing...

dl'ed it
ran it
and it said i need Internet Explorer 6 installed

but i DO have it installed and it is my primary browser
and its got IE SP1 too

version 6.0.2800.1106

so i dunno...
patch wont run for my comp...

Mac_forever 10-13-2002 12:55 AM

I am not sure I should download it just because, like vee_ees, I would need to download all of them, and don't want to do that.

i know a few places you really should not say this, IRC is one of them, people *will* get the wrong idea :)

eviltechie 10-15-2002 05:44 PM

i meant
lab rat...

just to be the first to test it out on here
and share my experience with those who are wondering

Mac_forever 10-17-2002 12:23 AM

That is a good idea. It is better for one person to download it and tell the rest.

eviltechie 10-17-2002 12:58 AM

well since the patch doesnt work for me, anyone want to give it a try?
