3GHz Pentium 4 on its way
 

News.com reports:

PC makers will show off systems containing Intel's 3GHz Pentium 4 on Nov. 14, a few days before the Comdex trade show in Las Vegas.

I'm already starting to drool.
wonder what these ones will top out at, 3.5-4Ghz with decent cooling.
Of course they will just be showing them off then, I wonder when they can deliver, or I can get a retail chip?

ah i remember when Intel first had the 3GHz made in 4Q of 2001

it was a big news, and now it is coming to the consumers
