also as far as i know, i thought CGIs dont make that kinda mistake by stopping the gifs

CGI's just generate HTML

that looks like javascript. I don't know exacly what you're asking

they stop animating once you click on any of them
the forum here at TWL is fixed, probably you did
when you click on them, javascript puts the words for the smilie into the textbox here and the left side, emoticons are still animating
for example the rolling eye smilie still rolls his eyes after you clicked on him

but at my friend's board, it stops
